Paul Constantino holds a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Political Science from Assumption College, along with a Master's work in Systematic Theology from the Maryknoll School of Theology. His work as a seminarian with The Catholic Foreign Missionary Society of America brought him to the Philippines, Korea, and Taiwan, where he served out his pastoral ministry.
Employed by the Massachusetts Department of Correction from 1986 to 2016 as a correctional counselor, case-worker, and program officer, Mr. Constantino became a true student of human nature and applied himself to healing the souls of his fellow men.
He was the head football coach at Clinton High School from 2007–2017, as well as the head boys basketball coach for West Boylston High School from 1989-2012. Currently, he heads the St. Bernard’s boys basketball program and serves as an assistant football coach. In 2015, Mr. Constantino received the MIAA Sherman A. Kinney Award, in recognition of a career of outstanding contributions to high school basketball in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
In 2015, he was selected as a National Finalist for the Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coach Award. He was selected for his 30 years of coaching and mentoring student-athletes at Clinton High School as a football coach, and for his 26 years of coaching and mentoring student-athletes as the basketball coach at West Boylston High School.
Most recently, Mr. Constantino was named Teacher of the Year and delivered the commencement address for STB’s 2019 graduating class.
He teaches in the Theology Department, and supports the expansion of STB’s Campus Ministry program. Mr. Constantino utilizes his seminarian training as well as his vast experience as a corrections counselor to impact the social-emotional and spiritual growth of all STB students.
