Paul Constantino holds a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Political Science from Assumption College, along with a Master's work in Systematic Theology from the Maryknoll School of Theology. His work as a seminarian with The Catholic Foreign Missionary Society of America brought him to the Philippines, Korea, and Taiwan, where he served out his pastoral ministry.
Employed by the Massachusetts Department of Correction from 1986 to 2016 as a correctional counselor, case-worker, and program officer, Mr. Constantino became a true student of human nature and applied himself to healing the souls of his fellow men.
He was the head football coach at Clinton High School from 2007–2017, as well as the head boys’ basketball coach for West Boylston High School from 1989-2012. Currently, he heads the St. Bernard’s boys’ basketball program and serves as an assistant football coach. In 2015, Mr. Constantino received the MIAA Sherman A. Kinney Award, in recognition of a career of outstanding contributions to high school basketball in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Most recently, Mr. Constantino was named Teacher of the Year and delivered the commencement address for STB’s 2019 graduating class.
As the newly appointed Dean of Students, Mr. Constantino will utilize his seminarian training as well as his vast experience as a corrections counselor to impact the social-emotional and spiritual growth of all STB students.
He also teaches in the Theology Department, and supports the expansion of STB’s Campus Ministry program.
