Linda Anderson earned her B.A. from Mt. Holyoke College, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Latin and Ancient History, and a minor in English Literature. Out of college, Mrs. Anderson took post-baccalaureate classes at Harvard to begin her training as a Clinical Psychologist, but life had other plans for her, and she found herself called instead to teach.
In 2010, Mrs. Anderson joined the staff of St. Bernard’s, teaching Latin and writing. She was awarded Teacher of the Year in 2014, shortly before the birth of her daughter, Grace, and her decision to take a leave from teaching and focus on two other passions: being a mom and writing.
After a three year hiatus, Mrs. Anderson returned to St. Bernard’s to teach Latin. She became principal in 2019, a job she finds deeply fulfilling as it affords her the opportunity to serve the STB community in an even more impactful way.
When not hard at work in the halls of STB, Mrs. Anderson can typically be found at home with her husband Tim, her daughter Grace, her dog Tess, and her two cats, Odie and Homer. She enjoys reading, listening to Bob Dylan, and spending time with her niece, Mae, and nephews, Paul and Joel.
In addition to serving as principal, Mrs. Anderson teaches Philosophy.
