Kelly Long graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 2003, then Assumption College in 2007. She majored in Social Rehabilitation Services and minored in English. One of her favorite experiences was studying abroad her sophomore year at the University of Westminster in London, England. Ms. Long then attended Wheelock College in Boston, where she received her Masters in Social Work. After working at Horizons for Homeless Children and Riverside Community Care's Life Skills Program, she realized her passion was working with adolescents.
Ms. Long moved back to Worcester after accepting a job as a clinician at Burncoat Middle School. After working at Burncoat for four years, Ms. Long and her husband moved to Seattle, Washington where she worked in two different school districts. Her first daughter Linley was also born.
In 2019 Ms. Long and her family moved back to Massachusetts. She worked at Burncoat High School as a behavioral specialist until 2021. Her second daughter Delaney was born in July of 2021 and soon after joined the St. Bernard's community as the part time school adjustment counselor.
Ms. Long enjoys being outside with her daughters, traveling, and hopefully one day running a full marathon.
