Alyssa Annese joined St. Bernard's High School as a guidance and counseling intern in January 2022 working with Mrs. Long. She is a senior Psychological Science major with a concentration in Applied Psychology at Fitchburg State University and will be completing her final semester credits with us on her internship. Her goal is to go to graduate school for her Masters in Counseling in order to become a mental health counselor in an educational or clinical setting.
Ms. Annese graduated from Peabody Veterans' Memorial High School in Peabody, Massachusetts in 2018 and moved to Fitchburg, Massachusetts full time in 2021 to complete her senior year. She will be graduating in May of 2022.
At FSU, Ms. Annese is a dance teacher and has been dancing since the age of two, as well as an Orientation Leader and Peer Mentor for first year students navigating life as a college student.
During the summer you can find her working as a summer camp counselor at for children and adolescents. She enjoys hiking, going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
