Our Mission:
Just as Christ calls us to love one another as He has loved us, St. Bernard’s High School educates students to be life-long learners and leaders in service who embrace the challenges of the world with courage, integrity and faith. We do this through our strong community of faculty, staff and families who nurture the individual – mind, body and spirit.

As founder of the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Honora “Nano” Nagle was a renegade. She dedicated herself to the education of Ireland’s Catholic children -- a group that had long been disenfranchised and denied access to schooling under British rule. Nano risked her life and reputation to enlighten the minds of the youth, and we at St. Bernard’s look to carry that mission forward.
Committed to the education of the whole person, we exist to create an environment of academic rigor that fosters spiritual potential. Of equal importance at STB is the well-being of a student in mind, body, and soul. In particular, and honoring Nano Nagle’s legacy, we see education as a gift, providing the youth of our world with opportunity and setting them on a path of life-long enrichment. We believe no school can accomplish this fully without honoring the spiritual dimension of the human person, and as an institution deeply rooted in the teachings of Christ, we model compassion, respect for others, and dedication to service.
