What is your daily schedule for the 2022-2023 school year?
Students arrive at school between 7:45-8:10am, visit their locker, and head straight to their first class. The buidling opens at 7:15am for student drop off.
At 8:15am attendance is completed in students' first class. After morning prayer and announcements, classes begin at 8:35am.
On Fridays, we gather as a whole school in the auditorium for Morning Meeting. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, students will stay in their first class and watch STB-TV.
School ends at 2:23 p.m.
After school, students can attend Clubs and Activities 2:30-3:15pm. Students can also seek extra help from teachers after school.
Many students head down to the Activity Center for 3:30pm sports practices.
Students take six classes per day. Theology, Math, Science, History, English, and Foreign Language are the core courses. Some students opt to take a seventh course, either a second foreign language or an elective. Juniors and seniors may choose AP classes or additional electives. Do most students live in Fitchburg?
No. Our students come from 22 different communities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Some Massachusetts cities our students travel from are: Ashburnham, Athol, Orange, Princeton, Sterling, Westminster, Gardner, Templeton, Hubbardston, Winchendon, Pepperell, Groton, Lunenburg, Shirley, Devens, Harvard, Lunenburg, Leominster, Fitchburg. New Hampshire cities: Keene, Rindge, New Ipswich, Mason, Jaffrey, Wilton.
Can I carpool with other families?
Many families choose to carpool with other STB families living in the same or nearby town. The Carpool Connection page provides additional details.
Do you have to be Catholic to attend St. Bernard’s High School?
No. About two-thirds of our students are Catholic, and about one-third are Protestant or other faiths. We celebrate Mass monthly during the year and we ask that all students either participate in the Liturgy, or respectfully observe the celebration. All faiths are welcome at St. Bernard's. Do you have a dress code?
Yes. Uniforms may be purchased at our online school uniform store sponsored by Tommy Hilfiger through Global Schoolwear.

Tuition for the 2022-23 school year is $8,550.00 for the first student, with a $1,000 sibling discount for each additional student.
