Meet the Bernardian Association!
Alumni, family & friends supporting STB
What is the Bernardian Association?
It's an organization comprised of volunteer alumni, current families, former families, students, and friends of St. Bernard's. It seeks to combine the energy, dedication, and talent of the whole STB Community under one umbrella for purposes of organizing and supporting booster activities. Its purpose is to act as the central administrative hub of a large range of events and projects and to marshal resources and volunteers.
Is the Association replacing the Bernardian Foundation?
No, the Foundation remains the organization entity that stewards fundraising proceeds. It has a small governance structure and works closely with the Association and the school Board of Trustees and administration.
What sort of events and activities will the Association support?
The Association, through volunteer project groups, will take on traditional STB events such as the Road Race, Athletic Hall of Fame/Distinguished Bernardian celebrations, back-to-school volunteer clean-up and welcome events, and homecoming weekend festivities to name a few. It will also support new events.
Does the Association need help?
Yes, yes, yes, we do!! This Association is 100% powered by volunteers! We need members of the Bernardian Community to help in so many capacities. We will need volunteers to organize and staff local events and projects, but would love help from volunteers who only have a small amount of time to share or want to help from a distance! We need families, alumni, and community members to keep moving ahead!
